Complete GBH Neutron Scorpio

Project is completed.
with all the due respect, I disliked it.
There are tons os misaligned sprites (I would need to inspect more, but looks like almost every single animation has misaligned sprites), hitflashes are misaligned too and the enemies uses the same dying voice over and over.

Reminds me of those old BOR clones.

I don't want to pile on... but +1 to what @machok and @O Ilusionista said. Sorry friend, this is just a mess. I couldn't even tell who's who, and stopped caring five seconds in. I would strongly suggest you work on the fundamentals first, and stop trying to rework completed games.

Download some of @Bloodbane's templates instead, study them, and make little changes here and there. That's what they're for. Ask us specific questions as you go - everything you want to do has almost certainly been done before and we can show you how. Build on that, and you'll be crafting some really cool stuff in no time flat.

For a beginner is not bad, but you really need to focus on one player and one enemy first, because the fundamentals like offsets and animations are wrong.
Once you have those corrected, you can proceed with more players and enemies.

Animations are too choppy and that’s I think it’s because of offsets and delays problems.

Players speak too much.
Try Bloodbane templates where he has simple players and enemies and compare the offsets, delays etc.

Don’t feel discouraged but work on those problems before moving. This is far from “complete” status. 👍

If this is still wip then there is time to fix a lot. Still not bad for a first attempt and I have seen worse . . . unfortunately.

Oh my goodness, even if you are a beginner at this, I agree with the things that have been told to you, with the amount of movements there are, I only see the same attacks, the hitboxes are misaligned, with how fun it is to do the prolonged jump attacks of combo, look at a game, like the one they mentioned, I used the bloodbane templates, I downloaded several games, to learn how to do the different attacks that there are, I focused on my protagonist, over and over again I played it to calibrate well the attacks and the blow, where it has to be hit, then I recommend making a basic enemy, playing several times, to test and make improvements, I am surprised that you do not use the program that is used to edit and align the characters, once you have a enemy or player, it is a matter of using the same template with other players, and from there, you can modify the movements and the strength of attacks, making one slower and another faster, I did not launch my first game, until If you were decent enough in animations and fighting, learn from others like I do, you can make good games, greetings.;)

One Minute of watching is enough for me. I absolutely didn't know why Gary P Smith keeps taking sprites from Art Of Fighting Trouble In Southtown, and The Return Of Kyo. Oh... epic fail.../And another thing, how did you disappear since 2020 before your project was abandoned?
