But it's a pity that this game lacks nirvana 🙂

Nirvana? Ah yeah, this hyper move is called "Slice the Sparkling Light", and it's used in both World Heroes Perfect and Neo Geo Battle Coliseum. One of the most stylish hypers in fighting game history.

Now the game is updated to be compatible with the more recent OpenBOR Engine Builds and includes some fixes and gameplay balancing changes.

  • Added a new trick to the final boss
  • Fixed some graphical glitches with the shadows of breakable objects
From 04.01.2025:
  • Added Energy cost restriction for some special moves so that they can't be abused as much for better gameplay balance.

The graphical interface for 4K monitors is not present. That made sprites freeze into place(Jars falling from the sky do not completely disappear). The game froze solid in the Korea stage while using Dragon, in the single player story mode. Any more fixes for the Windows 11+ platform(PC)? ;)
 
Actually, the 2nd game-play of this 2025 edition of the game, ended performing perfectly. No glitches what-so-ever and, the graphical quality adjusted itself. Won the whole game with the use of merely 3 credits out-of 8 initial credits allowed for the player to keep continuing until the very end of such beat'em-up game. ;)
 
Hi all love this game great work. I am hoping someone here can help me. My son and Myself just got done building a world heroes cab running a pandoras box. We are trying to play this game in the cab but we are in need of the dreamcast cdi version. I have scoured the net for the past few months and can not seem to find it I am hoping someone here can point me in the direction of where I can find it? Any help would be greatly appreciated by me and my son thx in advance for any help

Friend, there is no legitimate Dreamcast CDI version of this game. If something is floating around out there, it would be an unofficial, cut-down hack - not approved by the creator and not produced by anyone in this community.

Frankly, I don’t understand why you keep putting so much effort into all these toaster ports. Just off the top of my head, you’ve already asked about Shield, RetroPie, OpenDingux, some kind of Android handheld, the RP and RG EmuELEC lines, and now Dreamcast.

Find a crap-tier PC and put it in the cabinet. It would have cost far less by now than all the devices you’ve asked about, and it would actually play these games as intended.

I wasn't snarking. I'm dead serious giving advice. I don't care if it was five minutes or five years - you ask about unofficial ports a lot, and those toaster boxes cost money. Put that into a low end PC instead. Get it used off E-Bay or something. You don't need high specs. My sad little crash and burn work terminal with on board video runs anything in the library butter smooth.

Then ypu can play OpenBOR powered games like they were meant to be played.
