I like the fact this game takes sailor moon characters and makes something a bit différent. More physical, stronger... Perhaps not just for little girls. Sure banpresto did a great job, and bandai's beat em ups are ok, but soooo many sailor moon fan games are pretty average in term of fighting...
I like the result.
Sure it's early gameplay, but I already like the tweaks on sprites + colors.
Also the feeling of power + wall bounce... This si the power feeling that no other Sailor Moon game have.
I can't wait to see more of Mars in action.
And hope this project will be a great way to take...

I like the idea, even if the 16bits version of Sailor Moon characters allways give me the feeling of generic stickmen (stickgirls ^^; ) Without much body definition (and face)
But they also have a big diversity of moves if you take the VS fighting game versions of SM 16bits games...

I would perhaps try something like that. (border... fast edit, mine have too light color ^^; , you can make it better I think ^^)
Also ground texture have both the "tile allignement problem and the vertical mirror effect."

also, perhaps getting a wait to avoid getting so close from opponent. (depending on the size of characters.)
In this exemple, I fee like Ryu and Ken can get a little too close from each others.

The recent last version of the series almost disgusted me from the licence.
Now, I feel like a great opportunity to play again the classic (fun) ones.
Perhaps taking inspiration from the Superman included character games of the 16 bits era. Justice league etc. (I'm not a specialist...)
BTW your Akuma is absolutely epic.
