The show is a huge influence on us Latinos - even to those few that dislike it....

even had a cool dream once where i got to see the characters interact and speak in english...

it was such a cool thing to see that i woke up whishing we had dream recording machines

anyway, here is a video that tells the tale of one of the very few Mexican productions that i truly enjoy...
hopefully some english speakers and international fellows can appreciate and get a glimpse of part of the Latino mind
(and even dare say - spirit?)

I'll give this a look when I have time to soak it up. Honestly, at least in my part of the world, the most well known aspect of Latin media would be the weather girls.

and often you will find that ideologues that complain about the weather girls have a lot in common with the bit chunk of Mexicans that hate or came to dislike the show

greetings ,
here is a bit of TMI-

have experienced snippets of future events while dreaming since childhood, and since the way i experience the dang things is in color but with blurriness and nonsensical and out of order-like ...
me thinks that if found the source of my 'chespirito' visions:
(these videos brought me big Déjà vu feels, an found them and the channel because of an unrelated video about the new cgi series)

anyway ,some people dont like attempts at realistic cgi because of the uncanny valley thing, and i remember that my 'chavo' dream had CGI recreations that where made on the cheap and that is why i found them aven more amusing and fitting
(the original show had crappy low budget effects, so it makes sense that any cgi stuff should have the same cheesiness)
