Hehe!
Nice gameplay :)

Would be awesome to have your dad making videogames.
And playing it with him.

Its nice to see you can share some "retro gaming" type game moment with your son.

To celebrate Father's Day, which was yesterday here in Brazil, I decided to record a video with my son Enzo. Being able to play the game I made with my own son is priceless :)

Me - Wolverine. Enzo - Other chars.
Father & Son Gameplay - Avengers United Battle Force

The gameplay shows the first 2 stages. Some things are subject to change.

To play the first demo, go here http://brazilmugenteam.com/avengers/

hahaha thats great your little boy is a way better player than that one adult guy that did videos of this game jeje

oh boy, I have to share something with you guys.
Maybe its not that important for some people, but to me it means A LOT, really.

Watch this video from 1:14  and you will understand why:
VLOG || From My Heart

That is awesome to know, and made my day a better day :)

Awww, so sweet (the easter egg for Don'tWatchMePlay was so nice). ;)

Anyways, the gameplay is looking so awesome, I'm really looking forward to play it.

I know you're quite perfectionist, so I might have a couple of details that could look better.

The stage 1 Rushing Beat street... do you think would be a good idea to change the pink palette colors into something else? Because actually most people will relate it immediately with Rushing Beat. Another color scheme might make it stand out as something slightly more unique. Just sayin'.

In stage 2(?), the bay area, the stage has a perspective from left to right, but the foreground lamp posts are facing right to left, guess would be good if also match the perspective of the overall stage? Also, there's those palm trees along the foreground bushes, but I think it would look even better if the green palette could match to each other so it looks more consistent.

That's it, overall the mod is looking fantastic and I also loved how the bio of Tiger Shark appeared before his fight. Great job! :)

Hi Don. Thanks for the depth feedback.

About the first question, I already tried it, but without good results. I agree with you: I don't like when I see something which screams the original game too much. This is, for example, the reason I avoid to use the common enemies from Streets of Rage, because I've played that game too much. But Rushing Beat I haven't played that much, so it bothers me less. I will think about of what I can do.

About the bay area, I see your point, but those lamps doesn't bothers me at all.

Man, Black Widow is cursed, lol. Its the 3rd spriter which drops the job of edit her :(

Well, If you want, I can do the palette coloring for you, without messing the other areas. I can do pretty well in recoloring areas to new shades (as long the colors are solid and taken from the original source and not altered somehow).

If so, lemme know and send me that layer. I can do it quickly. Just tell me what color would you prefer the tone.

What do you think?

Looks like an evening setting now (dark blue over the walls)... the skyline shadows could be only explained as moonlight. Maybe gray or dirty cream colored palette would work if you're using a daylight setting?
