- NEW CHAPTER
Started to work in a new chapter - Greece. To reach it, you will first go underwater, fighting some enemies and a boss

Its not finished yet. I am trying to give it the more "underwater" feeling as I can:
* The background uses Water animation to simulate the water distortion (I was using it in every layer, but it reduced the FPS a lot).
* It features many long layers (with parallax effect),
* The bubbles are made randomly,
* Fishes and other animal will appear at random,
* Background music (the original from the Genesis game) were mixed with underwater effects, for better experience
* All explosions change to underwater explosions automatically (by script)
* (testing) Sounds will have an echo effect

My patrons already know about this (many info is shared first at my Patreon, and some won't be shared publically until the release) but its time to reveal one of the bosses:

- CUSTOM VOICES AND LOCALIZATION

I decided to invite some foreigner voice actors to voice some foreigner characters  (not all characters will have this) so the characters will speak their native language.
Colossus is one of those and he will speak russian. We have a brazilian girl to voice one of the characters, but we still need to decide which one to add.

Those content won't be available on the next update, just on the next release. So you will have to have some patience :)

The new underwater section of the new chapter is looking awesome, and the added effects/features to accommodate being underwater sound like really good ideas. I'm glad Mysterio is winning the poll so far too. He doesn't get much attention in games, where as Doom has a few worthy appearances. I love both though, and would be happy with either.
Love the new boss as well. Sprite looks awesome, and description is really cool. The text needs a little bit of correction though.
At the end of the first paragraph, where it says ", which he has done on twice." It should say "which he has already done twice." or "which he has done twice."  Both would work.
In the second paragraph, each instance of "and" should have a comma (, ) in front of it. Also, it sounds kind of strange the way the second paragraph is set up. It might sound better if it read...
"He is a formidable hand to hand combatant, and super-being among his race. Many of his natural Atlantean attributes are considerably more developed than the vast majority of his kind."
Keep up the good work O, it's looking great so far. As soon as I can, I will contribute to the patreon page for you. Hopefully the maximum too because I would love to have a stage or character coded for me added to the game.

Wow! I have no idea who she is but her sprite is incredible. One of the most visually appealing yet! :O

Please tell me she's a playable

I hope you use her instead of Human Torch for the "flame on character" (though I remember you saying something about using original Torch, Jim Hammond?)

That is a beautiful underwater stage! Attuma looks interesting as well! :)

She is Magma, and yes, she will be playable :)

Yeah, our initial plans were to use Jim Hammond (the bad ass killer android who burned Hitler to death) instead of Fantastic Four version. I am not convinced about the Fantastic Four on this game, maybe they will be only helpers, not playables.

My idea for F4 helper is to send in all four at once, but have it be rare compared to other assists.

I've working on this in my spare time:

GENERAL
-I am checking everyone defense and attack values
-Faster combos for some characters, like Wolverine (and now he has a dodge move)
-Jumps are now safier, since its harder to be hit.
-General improvements

SPIDER-WOMAN:
- In her default palette (jessica Drew), she uses Bioeletric Spark. In all other palettes, she uses web projectile
- Her fighting style is a mix of Muay Thai (Elbow, knee and double knee strikes) and Wrestling (kinda like a jumping hurricanrana)

As for G1 Human Torch, I'd gladly take him down the line. And here's some other suggestions:

* Include a memorial for the spriter who died working on the project (forgot her name)
* Should Tactical Force be added to the Boss Rush?
* Madame Masque's profile shows that she performs acts of great compassion. Does this mean she will also be a helper?

I will be away from here (and from internet per se) for some time, working on somethings and focussing more on myself.

- It will be done on the future. She was called Valeri.
- I can't do it right now, because the zoom code and the fact he needs a specific stage to work.
- No, its just her bios.

About Spider-woman, what was intended to be something quick and simple, so I can release an update quickly, turned out in something big and complex. So this is why the update wasn't released yet (plus my lack of motivation).

Some of her freespecial, grabmoves and her Hyper Move/ Avenger Power changed based on the actual palette., splitted in two groups: Bio eletric and web

Nice! I love how dramatic the bio electric looks :)

I had no idea who to vote for because either one of them could use guns and I don't know them well enough to say who should use them more, so I just made the votes equal XD sorry.

Hulk is no surprise to me, since he is the strongest and easiest character to play with (and I am a huge fan of the chracter). I am glad people liked Thor, becaue I like him a lot too. My big surprise was Quicksilver - I wasn't expecting people liking him so much :) This games exists thanks to him (and my friend Doom), because it was the first thing Doom had edited for this game.

And the top 3 most disliked characters :(

I think, in Black Cat case, it's thanks to the fact she is weaker than the rest of the chracters (which is expected to be). Emma was never my favorite (even on Comics). But Brand got me. She was the hardest character to code and took a lot of effort to be done. I think the result is based on how hard is to play with her (she is one of the hardest character to play with), because she is very tactical and you have to think before move.

Third, game general updates:
- Revised all characters life, offense, defense, damage, speed and power values. Many characters has quicker combos now, like Vision.
- Fixed almost every mentioned bug (and others I got while playing), like dodge moves not been invincible.
- Improved all jumps. Now its safier to jump and do attacks, since the colision boxes are now smaller.
- Improved effects for some characters moves, like lighting over Thor body

I think I recognized this masked guy base... (sorry ;D)

I would suggest someting with the word "toxic" or "tox" on it
 
Toxicator (Toxic-ayter or Toc-sicka-tore) is the name I have in mind. If not, maybe Brolex could fit the name.

It's not a problem :) His base comes from one of Street Smart bosses (I've played that game a lot on arcades when I was a kid)

I will stick with "Masked Mauler", but I will leave "Toxicator" for other enemy with toxic abilities.

Now Black Cat's Avenger Power doesn't fails anymore on bosses, even if they are airborn, because she starts the move with a Roundhouse kick, which lifts the enemy a little :)
