just dowloaded a bugfix version of openBOR
I don't understand. You mean to tell me that the OpenBOR version, that comes with the download, is bugged? Then how come I was able to have it running without any problems?

Nobody else has complained about it, so I'm assuming everything works fine for everyone else. I'm very confused. Can someone please confirm if the OpenBOR version, that comes with the download, is bugged?

Works fine for me buddy with the version that comes with the download

Thanks for confirming that it works fine. That puts my mind at ease ;)

I have no idea why it didn't work for you, John_Kuey. But I'm glad you were able to solve it.

yeah sorry, I had no time to test it - I was out of town - and it will take a while before I ever had chance again :(

I know I have no right of asking this from both of you, but when you are going to do the co-op playthrough, can you do me one small favor?

That favor being that one of you selects a 'Toad to play as and the other player selects a Dragon to play as. What better way to show a co-op run of a Battletoads Double Dragon game, then having a 'Toad and Dragon teaming up? ;D

Of course, you both are free to choose any character you want. It's just a little request of mine. I'm already glad enough that you are actually willing to take the time to do a playthrough ;)

Yeah thats no problem atall buddy. I just did a full solo playthrough including all stages , Over all the game is alot more fun now i notice quite a few things added ( Also on the water stage did you remove the part were the guy targets you with missiles? Im sure it was there before but was some what bugged and he used to have issues actually locking on to you making the stage take even longer.

Not sure if it was this game or the T Bird Missions game i played ages ago hahaha. Anyways awesome work buddy and im uploading the playthrough now :D

Yes, I did remove the rockets from the 'Water Ride' area. They didn't function properly and after a lot of trial and error, I just decided to remove them entirely. The T.Bird Mission mod did not have such a stage.

You may be wondering why I never bothered to re-release the sequels I made to 'BDD: The Revenge'? That's because my heart wasn't in those mods. I was never satisfied with them. Odds are very VERY slim that I'll ever patch up those mods and re-release them. It was 'The Revenge' that was actually my dream mod to make ever since I was a kid. I had pretty much the entire game inside my head for lots of years, and when I discovered OpenBOR, I knew that I could make the dream a reality :)

Oh ok i see buddy i actually wasn't sure if you did the other Double Dragon Battletoads games (I think the other one i played was return of dark forces or something like that)

And yeah good idea to remove that from the 'Water Ride' area i did notice it was sort of bugged when i did my first playthrough of it hahaha.
Also yeah you can tell were all the work and love went into the Revenge mod its fantastic. And now with the changes i found it alot more fun to playthrough.

Tho i will say about the other mods you did do they are still very good mods i did enjoy them both  ;D

Davpreec
The names of the other two Battletoads Double Dragon mods are:

Battletoads Double Dragon: The T.Bird Mission (beginning of 2010)
Battletoads Double Dragon: Return of the Dark Forces (end of 2010)

As you can see, they were both developed in the same year. But they just never clicked with me despite the fact that I worked on them.

I am glad that you enjoyed them. But they are far from my best work and I just quickly developed them to have a OpenBOR BDD trilogy.
When I was done developing them, I noticed that I kept returning to 'The Revenge' and gradually making updates for that mod. It was from that moment on that I focused all my attention on 'The Revenge' and just kinda abandon the other two mods.

MadGear I get you buddy ,  Still nice that you did make more than just the one mod "If not for you i wouldn't have been able to get my Double Dragon/Battletoads fix hahaha" I will get the other 2 games aswell and do playthroughs of both :D Oh and heres the playthrough hope you enjoy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZMwa0xESPuc&feature=youtu.be

Oh nice! ;D

I'll take a look at it tomorrow, okay? It's midnight here in the Netherlands and I need to go to sleep. Good night.

Very nice playthrough ;) I'm glad to see that you're not spamming the runattacks anymore. And it looks like I was successful at re-arranging the hitboxes for the 'Toads' standard attacks. You didn't really use a lot of other moves that he has. Grabup, grabdown and the freespecial moves were barely seen. But that's okay, we all play beat 'em up games in our own way :) As long as you enjoy it, then it's all fine by me.

In case you (or anyone else) don't know how to perform the 'Toads' freespecial moves, here are the button combinations to perform them:
- Up, Up, Attack
- Down, Forward, Attack

Also, I thought you said to me that you were bad at vehicle stages? You seemed to be doing just fine during those stages. You didn't even die once during the Turbo Tunnel part 8) Perhaps that bonus room after the Turbo Tunnel area was not needed after all. Did you practice the vehicle stages in the 'Bonus Modes' section of the game before recording this playthrough? And you only used 1 credit to beat the game. Perhaps I was a bit too generous with the total amount of credits you start the game with. You get 5 lives and 5 credits to beat the game. Perhaps I should've went with 5 lives and 3 credits instead. Oh well :P

MadGear hahaha nah i didnt practice before i did turbo tunnel's :D The speed of that stage (even in the other games) was never the problem it was always the horrible part's were u got to jump gaps and be dead on or you die.

I don't think you made it too easy buddy i think the fact i only used 1 credit is down to playing it so much now i pritty much know the enemy spawns and there counter attacks (see how i abuse some of the bosses with the 2 punch trick lol)

And yeah i know about the other attacks i always forget the toads have them tho i normaly use them attacks when playing as either billy or jimmy :D

Unfortunately, I don't know how to make the game more difficult without it being cheap. The only thing I can think of is giving the player less credits.
