The project is currently under development.
I was wondering if Sketch Turner from Comix Zone might
appear in the future.

At least as a secret character.

Considering that he had some pretty interesting moves,
he could fit in well here

I enjoyed playing this game.

I liked it because there were many movements I wanted to perform (I mostly used dash attacks).

One unique aspect of the system is that the bosses have phases. The attack patterns change every time you get hit, which felt fresh and nice as it showed that the bosses are formidable.

The enemies aren't as easy as I expected; the police officer [was it Eddie?] unleashed flawless attacks using his weapon to an unrivaled degree.

I think the difficulty might not be easy for beginners.

I'm curious if there are plans to include a difficulty adjustment menu in the full version later on.

It's not a completely crazy idea, it makes sense. The problem is the sprites: I didn't check the size, but they use a completely different shading style than what's in the game.

Could it work? Yes. But it would require a Herculean task.

Sketch is kinda short in size next to the rest of the cast. Resizing is easier when the subject is bigger than the rest, I don't know if I could get him to be the proper size; he is a very interesting character, yes and Ilu is right, it's like making him from scratch graphically wise to get him properly designed for this game.

Trust me you will see a good mixture of well known and unknown characters in the next two seasons, some really obscure ones.

About difficulty, Edi.E is indeed kinda hard for stage 3 Boss, but his difficulty is just a placeholder as this game was getting only one demo before its release, he will have his moveset adjusted a little bit so he doesn't feel too cheap, although there are already some dudes dominating him and asking for more harder bosses ahead haha. In the final build, you should expect the dificulty to rise starting from stage 4, tho.

Posting a couple of recent development test videos. 1st one is Round 4-2. I don't think I'll be releasing more trailers until the game is done, and I'll just post dev videos from now on. This is a test for Rolento's fight. I had so many hurdles but thanks to the help of many, Rolento's battle turned out pretty good:

2nd video is about bonus stages, this is the 1st of many, MANY. I want to implement several games bonus stages into Fight Forever, hopefully turns out great.

Many thanks to @maxman, @O Ilusionista, @Bloodbane, @Kratus and @DCurrent for all the ideas and feedback 🔥

Here's more footage of where the game is at this point (Round 5), I added 2 bonus stages so far, and updated lots of aspects in each stage, as well as their intros and Metro City map between stages:

Excellent!
I can't wait to try it when it's ready...
Also to see what else you're cooking.

Cody is excellent, Guy too! So many great characters !
D*, I want to give Cammy some extra frames of mine, to give her more diversity in moves.

Let me see what you have you want through PM's as I don't use to go back to already finished characters.

One personal opinion: the giant white "BOSS" that takes up most of the screen when it appears is a bit too dazzling. Would it be better to replace it with black halftone dots that don't completely obscure the screen?
Another reason is that the massive warning effect when a boss appears is meant to emphasize their presence and sense of intimidation. In this regard, black might be a more suitable choice than white.

Clever work! I think it would be a fun idea to have that angry Abigail to jump over to whichever target (player) wherever they are after tossing a large tire. Oh, yeah. I think he can also throw that tire to the player. If not, then that's okay. ;)

It was just personal preference, and It's inspired by Virtua Fighter 6. It happens fast and doesn't make the battle any more hard than it should be as it takes less than a second.

I would love to get that, I tried but couldn't get that desired effect 😂
