As I've been trying to juggle a 2d project and a 3d project at the same time due to my extreme inteligence , the internet gods took pity upon me and decided to send me a Blender fork that does not make me pluck my remaining hairs out.
** Bforartists ** has a website and github
with win, linux and mac versions up to date
no idea if it's common knowledge a fork of blender with a less draconian UI existed but
after I clocked a mesh that usually took me 40 minutes and finished up in 20-ish minutes
years of disliking this damn program vanished for me
so figured hey might as well throw the word around
