Green Vertical Lines around Players and NPCs

I am new to Openbor and have been having an issue with some .paks. When playing a game, player characters and NPCs are enshrouded with a vertical column of green that follows them around. I have tried all the different graphical settings to no avail.

There is a warning in the log: "unknown command in lifebar.txt." Any suggestions? (see log below).

Here is the log for one of the .paks that is producing this effect:

The green column is a range. Range is used for various types of logic (example: an enemy knows not to try an attack unless you are within that attack's range setting). For whatever the range debug is enabled, which causes the current animation's range to be visually represented on screen. Look in options->system->debug, and you'll find it.

The Color setting is meant for lifebars, but the module author has done something wrong or is using an outdated version. Some mistakes can't be ignored (like a missing sprite or bad script), in which case OpenBOR will shut down after logging the error. But for lifebar.txt issues, it just falls back to the default settings.
