Ripping music from SNES is pretty easy using SPC Tool
Download Here - http://www.zophar.net/utilities/converters/spc-tool.html
Rather than roms, to rip SNES music you must have the .SPC files from the game.
SNES Music Archive - http://snesmusic.org/v2/
These are in .RSN format, SNES soundtrack, they contain all music in one file.
You can also find a good amount of SPC files here - http://www.zophar.net/music/spc.html
These are .7z files containing loose SPC files.
--------------
1. - Download and install SPC Tool. - http://www.zophar.net/utilities/converters/spc-tool.html
2. - Download the SPC archive for the game you want to rip music from. - http://snesmusic.org/v2/
3. - A) If using .RSN files, simply open the RSN file in SPC Tool.
B) If using .SPC files, you can either simply extract the SPC archive, and open individual SPC files in the app.
Or you can extract them and re-archive as .RAR for easy loading into SPC Tool.
4. - Once you have your tracks open you should see something like this on screen.
In this example im using 'Saturday Night Slam Masters' - RSN file from snesmusic.org/v2/

5. - On the left side of screen you will see the files list, these are all the tracks contained in this soundtrack.
To play a track click the track in the file list, (I've selected 01 Capcom) and then click the play button, circled in red here -

6. - Now to save a track in .WAV format click the record button, circled in red here -

You will get several options, what you choose here is up to you.

If you're ripping music just to listen too then I suggest Option 1 CD Quality.
If you are ripping music to use in OpenBoR then Option 2 SNES quality is probably a good choice (produces smaller files).
7) Click Go! - It will save the .WAV file to the same directory as the source files.
8.) And we're done, use your favorite app to convert the .WAV to desired formats, I suggest something like GoldWave. - http://goldwave.com
