How do you turn on V-Sync for Openbor games? Screen tearing is bad in some games

Hello, I'm playing a very highly recommended Openbor game called Dungeons and Dragons: Rise of Warduke.

It plays great so far, but the screen tearing is very bad.

I'm new to Openbor, couldn't find anything with Google, or in the game's options menu. Any advice?

irrelevant_pelican,

In 14 years this is the first I ever heard of any screen tearing in OpenBOR. It's almost technically impossible - OpenBOR renders graphics with the CPU, not the GPU. If there's a problem, it usually affects the framerate.

What are you playing it on? Also keep in mind Rise of Warduke is a good game overall, but visually not so much. The creators used a lot of different assets that don't really mix, lacked enough animation for their purposes, and a lot of the editing is pretty sketchy. Are you sure it's really screen tearing and not just the messy graphics you're seeing?

I'd suggest going to Video options in the main menu. There are a lot of different filter options, but I get the feeling you'll have the same visual experience no matter what.

PS: if I haven't said so, welcome to the forum!

Damon Caskey, thank you for the welcome!

I made an imgur album so you could see what I'm referring to, maybe it's not called screen tear. I hope this helps give an idea of the issue and hopefully there's a solution. I messed around with the video options but nothing seemed to work.
