Let's play OpenBOR online with Parsec!

Yes im sure about that 100%, if you can find someone closer you can have great experience, its really big difference from our test yesterday
 
sweet you figgured out a way to make openbor playable online i would love to test it although im also in aussie so may have lag issues as well

may i suggest facebook then or something like that maybe google hangouts or discord would be a good option for  a chat room
 
ryamaneo you can play with andrew  (nsw25) without any lag at all, probably someone from china or india could host a game between australia and germany with smallest amount of lag possible , we just hav eto figure out whos in the middle geographically so hes the one who should host game between 3 people.I hope it works like that so theres still a chance to play without much lag if there will be someone in midwa bertween our country and australia to host the game .

Hey man sorry for yesterday! At the moment you were connected i was playing with bwwd my WH game which is a 2 players game anyways. And yeah the whole think was a little unorganized since we just started with it  :P

@nsw25, ryomaneo, Yeah Australia is too far away from Europe and that's why there is some lag. But hey, it is still playable just for fun and it's for sure a good way to play-test 2-3 players modes of our games! The lag if any existing, is only visible to the "guests" and not to the "host" anyways.
But i'm sure that if you guys (nsw25, ryomaneo) will test it together there will be not a noticeable lag at all.
 
Yeah it was great , much faster when voicechatting than typing onscreen, im wondering what would happen if Bloodbane would host the game, maybe there would be less lag cause hes in India.So technically our lag should drop to half of what it was when playing with Andrew.
 
Were playing with maggas again in about hour , anyone wants to join? Were in mid europe(germany/poland).

With bwwd we have actually used mostly facebook's Messenger for our 2 people voice chat. For more than 2 people we should test Discord for sure!
 
Your best bet is to play with O Ilusionista , you guys should have no lag with connection speed above 10Mb/s, 5 is minimum but screen drops frames sometimes

i have some work to do , by the way, ive had 30Mb/s in mid day and 3Mb/s at 9pm, so my connection is quite funky  , now its 5.46Mb/s
 
So yall really got to playing openbor online? Didn't think it could happen, and so suddenly. There's gotta be some video or recording of this so this could be put on notice, it could get OpenBOR a lot of attention from the outside.

Maybe one day I'll try to get on and see how it is, for now I'm focused on getting a certain amount done on my end. Just wanted to comment on how cool this is.  8)

Today i was not able to catch you but i hope to do so one of the next days  :D
I did play with Kurisu from Brazil few hours ago and i will upload the playthrough tomorow! It was really nice!  ;D

Yeah some day you should try it! It's really fun!
About videos, i have already recorded one online co-op playthrough and i'm planing to record and upload more! Aside of fun i think too that this will promote OpenBOR i little more as well.

@bWWd, nsw25,
We did not play much with Parsec settings this time. We just tried if video recording (by me/host) will producing any more lag and Kurisu(client) said it did not made any difference.
So between Germany and Brazil there was only some input lag for Kurisu, which is noticable on the video as well. But overal it was nice and playable still!
