i want, im not worried about sounds yet, but for sure i will remove all SoR sounds.

like bloodbane said, somes chars like to fight alone, so this ones will have leadership 1, and when get this item they will get only a score bonus. like hulk, he will not call for help... but if you get this item like dr. banner, he call for she-hulk.
 
Leadership rating is a great idea, specially if you can manage to have them call different (random) helpers (like Cyclops can call any unused x-men, but Jean Grey has more chance of calling for Cyclops or Wolverine).

Either way, I think Bloodbane's help on an item that calls for helpers would benefit not only your mod, but the other Marvel mods on development.

I think helpers don't need to be NPC type - they can be like the Genesis X-Men 1 helpers, getting on the screen and leaving after an attack, - or like calling the police in Streets of Rage 1.

exactly, leadership is to npcs type,
but there will be item wth helper to clean screen too, but this ones will be same to all chars, like silver surfer, dr. strange, fire star, and cloack e dagger.... maybe more.

this project had fews items, i will make enemys drop small orbs to health and energy too.
 
What moves do a NPC need to have?
Walk, Atk, Hit/Hurt, Fall and Get up?

And a Helper?

I just noticed that Hercules is really easy to do using Haggar (Final Fight).
We will never let you finish ZVitor  :P

and stance, (just 1 sprite).

hercules should be cool for a npc.
using haggar from saturday slam snes is better, panths fit better an no need resize.

helpers just need one attack, but they must fit to game story

I suppose the flying characters will get something like that too...  ::)

Is "blindsense" Daredevil's block now? Looks a bit hard to connect.

 
venom was there before at MFA 1

the new command is the block button at air, it active fly mode and make spider and venom stay at web, web swing is just his new D + Attack at air,
...
and about blindsense and spider-sense, it is they block if they walk + block, the stand block still default one, this special block will work like a counter, fews chars will have it, maybe psylocke and elektra too....

I changed my mind about Spider-Woman's sprites. Instead of using her Avengers Alliance's sprites as base, I'm planing to use Trini (after I finish Black Panther... man I need to focus). Avengers Alliance is a JRPG-like game, so it doesn't have jump, fall, get up, walk sprites; futhermore, Spider-Woman is always flying, and Jessica started to actually fly only after the Secret Invasion (2008); it would be odd to have Jessica always flying while Ms. Marvel walks. ::)

Please tell me if you intent to use Trini sprites for something else.
 
no plans for trini, but i belive she need a resize, check her at side of psylocke sprites.

I suppose she'll be able to do the "flying" stance with the block button mid air as well.

Being so small, I'm concerned about her attack range. She does appear to be hit too much (but maybe that's just the stage. I hate that one, I always get beaten up. A lot. LOL)

Do you have all her moves defined? I'd like to suggest one, do you mind? :)

Well, most tiny flying attackers employ a particular tactic of quickly swarming an enemy, flying through their legs, and dodging attacks, flying back from behind them, and making an attack somewhere in between. That could be done as a grab animation, couldn't it? Enemy stands still, while she flies around in an "8" pattern...

Too much to do, I know. :P
 
i like that ideia, will make a dodge to her DF + A

and will try incress range with some projectiles to her basics
