All these teens took a chance to get the basics of game development and were able to crank their very first game. They will probably update it in the future. They'll learn more advanced techniques in Spring 2020.

Ryan Bigelow, Lazuli, and Sakura Sakamoto, awaken from a coma in a government medical facility after a suspicious man had tried to insert some unknown liquid into their IV. Being discovered, the man runs away, and there's little time for them to even process what's going on before they are on his heels. What happens next?

Great stuff just had a quick go of this and must say you guys did a really good job considering its your first ever mod. I will do a full playthrough of this soon and post it on my channel :)

Well done and congrats on getting your first game out  :D

Indeed it was a great start. You even used the history script, which isn't easy for newcomers, but since you are a coder in real life and should not be hard for you :)

The only thing that needs serious work is the sprite alignment, because it's very wrong in some characters, specially on the guy from gekido. You have to use his feet as a anchor point, not his head.

Anyway, congrats for the release.

I really appreciate the support guys! Davpreec The teens were SO excited to hear about the playthrough. That really made their day. Thanks so much for that.

And also if anyone wants to talk about ways they could've improved the game, like the quality of how the title screen shows up in the game and such, please don't hesitate to mention it. Because although the kids are happy about what they were able to create, they definitely want to improve their skills to produce even better games. So any help you guys could give would REALLY be helpful. We won't take it personally as long as it's honest feedback and not rooted in bashing. There are so many viewpoints and experiences here, so we appreciate that about everyone here.

AHHHHHHHHHHHH........ Yeah and when you say that, it makes a lot of sense. We'll definitely remember that next time. Yeah for some reason, we were thinking the head. Are there any other things you see? We definitely could tell that the title screen could look have more quality in it? What that have been better to do if we used a higher resolution in the game(something we plan on doing next time, going to shoot for 720p)?

That was amazing to read, really. To know the young generation thinks like that is amazing. The kids are understanding this better than my grown up adults here, lol.

Anyway, I will test it again soon and give me feedback. The first time I tried, the game freeze on that hospital scene, with only the background and no button was working - I had to quit OpenBOR. And it was not an OpenBOR issue (like not responding) but a coding issue, because I had skipped the dialog fast and when I quit the engine, I saw the credit screen.

Ahhh, you know what? That happened during the release party one time as well. I'll have them look into that. It only happened that one time, and it never happened to us during testing, but I can have them do some stress testing to see if they can replicate. It may be as simple as adding a "skip" or jumptobranch to the dialog script or something. Thanks for letting me know about that.

This is so appreciated! I'm actually going to have them create their own accounts on here so they can get inspiration from other game creators as well. I'll tell them to join those fb groups as well :)

O Ilusionista That happened to me too buddy it seems like theres a bug when you click attack 2 i think it was when the dialog is on screen it just freezes (happened to me on the alex boss fight first time i played it)

Ok, let me test that out. I think it may be because of them trying to do a workaround with the story script, and create a dialog cutscene in between stages. I really appreciate you for this, we'll definitely fix and update.

Digital Brilliance Hour no problem buddy its always great when we catch random bugs early so we can report them and they can be fixed :) im also glad the kids was happy to see my video that was very nice to hear thanks :D
