Yeah, when this game first got released they blocked my videos so nobody could watch them!! So I don't know if anything changed or not, it's better to be on the save side bro and just mute the music!!
 
ZVitor really ought to go back to this! I know, I know... the DMCA came knocking. As everyone knows, that happened because of the name's connection to the cartoon. Other MK modules didn't suffer from this because they use names unrelated to any other media. Maybe if he changed the name to Mortal Kombat Mythologies 2 or Special Forces 2, or even The Power of Mythologies... All in all, everything would be fine if the subtitle were changed. ;)

I honestly doubt he will ever return to it. It's not just the name (and using Mythologies 2 could be a bad idea), the musics have problems on YT too.
Even the game itself has problems - YT doesn't like Mortal Kombat content at all. Almost every video I upload with MK content gets flagged by YT, which removes the monetization from said videos and even lower the trust on your auto category when you upload a video (where you say if the video is ok or not to be monetized).

There was a friend of mine working on a private version of this game, but I don't think she have plans to release it. And IF she has, she would ask Zvitor first.
 
Man, don't get me wrong... I had to laugh at that whole YouTube thing. So, does it all come down to YouTube? I mean, I usually make a "family-friendly" version of a module just to avoid issues when posting it there. It’s a hassle, isn't it?
Like I said, if he picks a subtitle that hasn't been used on any other media, everything should be fine.
Regarding MK content on YouTube, the big issue is the music—and that applies to anything MK-related, not just the games.
If you ran into trouble with MK content beyond the music, then you were just unlucky, because plenty of people post MK gameplay there and monetize it normally. Obviously, the content gets flagged as mature-only. Maybe your mistake was trying to publish the video for all ages. :)

Yeah... Anyway, after all these years... ZVitor probably just lost interest in MK. Copyright issues like that really kill a creator's motivation.

Your friend could publish the good stuff she made here, or on sites like itch or gamejolt.

If your reaction was simply to laugh, I have no interest in explaining it to you.

As for my friend posting what she did, I don't know if you read the part where I said she wouldn't do that without the author's consent.
She isn't the type of person who goes around disrespecting creators, because she knows that some users are just like drug addicts—they don't care how they get something; they just want more and more.
 
That’s why I said not to get me wrong. The whole idea of YouTube being the "center of the universe" is comical and often annoying, yet YouTube keeps screwing over creators for the slightest thing. Anyway, I won't get into that, since the topic here is MK.

I read it. :) I’ve followed ZVitor’s work for many years, and I don’t think he’d mind, provided he gets credit.
