I was going to try something like this a while back (in kungfu mod).  Personally I like knives to get thrown a lot faster thou., but this could make it hard to execute.

I think the same like you my friend.

Try with enemies knifes more faster, but it's very short the time to activate the counter. Maybe can set a little more faster, but not too much.

Not my friend, the knife of the enemy have the script of Dc to hit the enemies in the floor.
So this way check the animation when hit, if the hero is in block the knife change the animation with another attack##.
Trigger a specific pain animation in the hero, so this way the hero throw the knife.
 
Here one of the new bloody moves, avaible for all characters.
The counter knife:

Excellent move my friend, so we can dispatch enemies faster.

So you don't have to hit block at the moment kife comes.
Simply holding continuously hold will automatically relaunch any knife received, right?
Anyway, I like the fact very diverse game mechanics are implemented in Openbor :)

If you press block in the right moment, the hero catch the knife and throw to the opponent head killing him.

This is the Batman I've been waiting for a long time with a good mix of backbreaking moves and good use of his gadgets. You did a superb job Dante of making Batman a badass. Can't wait to try him out.
