Honestly, I prefer nearest neighbor. MMPX alone is not awful, but throw in halftones and it's just way too blurry. To me it looks less "classic preserved" and more "worn out monitor".

pure Nearest-Neighbor is the most authentic, but MMPX Adv looks better on high-res, large-size screens. Adding a bit of blur with NEDI isn't that bad either.

Me too. And MMPX adds some half-sized pixels which once you see it, you can't unseen it
