Should of made this topic ages ago. 

This is what I've been adding to the intro of my mods for a while now, (thou I have different designs for each mod).

This is the generic one, it's a very simple and quick design, I never decided on a font, but you get the idea.  It would be cool to have something official thou, so post your own ideas.  If you wish, feel free to add these to your mod, no credit needed of course.

Also there is some common logo screens that often get used in mods, post these here too if you will.  These should be updated thou, to point to chronocrash.com

Let's promote OpenBOR and chronocrash as much as possible, so people know where to go.  I hope to see people adding something like this to their mods in the future. 

I'm sure other members could make a better design than me so please post your ideas and designs.

Also the slogan I made, 'Powered by OpenBOR' is very un-original, so if anyone has cool ideas for something else post it here.

P.S - Not sure who made this OpenBOR Logo, but it always makes me think of Bloodbane

i agree with you guys should have been done years ago it will get people more involved with this site and the engine itself

@nsw25 - hehe I tried it too with sega style, I got the whole font ready for openbor somewhere. That's the idea thou, we can have retro themed ones. 
Ready made gif's people can use will be good thou.

I'll try to think of some more... (Sorry I know they are pretty rough).

@ryomaneo - Yeah totally the idea.  Show a little pride and love for the engine we use to make these games, plus respect and props to the devs.

Not sure who made this OpenBOR Logo, but it always makes me think of Bloodbane

I believe it was Fight 'N' Words & SX who made it. No idea where dragon idea came from

@Bloodbane/nsw - Yeah I prefer it too, that logo is classy.  That's cool that it was them that made it, was never sure if it was actually an official logo.

@nsw25 - Yeah I agree, that's what I'd do.

@ned - lol yeah I was tempted to try, it would be cool.  I would of done capcom style one but the font is commercial.

Anyhow keen to see what others come up with.  I'm pretty lazy to spend very long on one image, I made the sega/nes ones in a very short time.

These logos are excellent! I'm totally using them in my mods from here on out! I still use one that promotes Lavalit... -sigh-, memories.

FightnWords designed the dragon for the OpenBOR logo; I'm not really sure why. I just remember he wanted to incorporate a flame motif to match with the "of Rage" part of BOR; and I think a dragon shape just seemed to fit the aesthetic.

I miss FightnWords. I wonder what he's up to these days.

Thanks NickyP, I had you in mind (seen that old logo in your mods)   A semi official disclaimer screen like that logo you mentioned would be good to have thou.

Yeah good ol Fightn Words, he was always like the elder god of openbor.  A voice of reason in the forums, I always remember him when I think of old days when openbor first got started.
