The guys from SNK's "Mutation Nation". They have their own names, but I can't recall those. I read somewhere that Kyo Kusanagi was based on the red head guy.

It was my first glimpse of SNK new spritework when they incorporated the guys from IREM - I was genuinely shocked at how good the art and designs looked.

Red head guy is named Ricky. IIRC, the other guy is Johnny.
