Solved Removing stage timer entirely

Can't seem to find any mention of this on the Wiki, just a heck of a lot of information on how to move it around/adjust it; apologies if it's been asked already as it seems like an obvious thing.

Is there a straightforward way to remove the timer *entirely*, both visibly and mechanically?

Put this on your stage header:

settime 0
notime 1

give infinite time, move it offscreen and that is it.
in levels.txt :
timeloc 5555 5555 0 0 1

in stage1.txt :

settime 0

you don't need to move it offscreen if you put the code I pasted above
