Well, I'm still working at Openbor, I really wanted to make a new superhero game, so here I am.
In principle I will use Mugen characters, but many others I will edit.
I am a huge lover of comics, and my room is full of Marvel and Dc stuff, from figures and stuffed animals to a two-meter Captain America flag.
Here I leave you some YouTube videos,  i am working on the sounds and details of the game such as the shock effect, and small things that you realize when playing it.

Thank you very much for the positive comments, the Amalgam characters are going for another game, I already have Amazon, Darkclaw and others, but I want to focus on a single game because if a thousand ideas do not come to me and I will never finish.
My plan is to demo this, with at least two full bosses and levels, and then prepare Amalgam demo.
The problem is that I know myself and I want to do a thousand things at once and I never finish one, I already happened with the Snk game, that's why I set myself the goal of demoing, preparing Amalgam, demoing, and again going back to this one, two games, I do not want to make ten thousand characters and end up on the hard drive, sometimes less is more XD.

Welcome back, Goresickness! It's been a while. The transition for the running animation is nice and smooth, specifically Hulk's and Captain America's. I don't remember if somebody made a custom run animation or Capcom made them. Anyway, best of luck with your project.
 
Yes, I am the same, Mr. Q, I'm glad to be here again, thank you very much for the encouragement XD.
I'm working on the Freespecial 3, each character has them, DFA, FFA and the strong attack DFDFA.
I don't like to complicate the commands, I want to make an agile and fun game based on the combo, hence the screen fills up with enemies.
I use the Blast a lot because by bouncing the enemy against another, it gives the possibility to re-chain a new attack, but only for special attacks, the normal ones do not have it.

Interesting.
Few things to fix IMO.
-the head always in the same direction. It should be from the sinde in some animation.
-R.Mika voice is too obvious, perhaps swap it with a more generic one.

Good to see some progress.
 
This is a very good interesting project, thanks for showing
I wouldn't make extra head movements unless you already wanted to. I don't think this is a game about seeing different angles of heads, it's a fun fighting game

Nice work Goresickness, new enemies are always welcome  :D

BTW you ought to add variation to enemies by giving something like middle range attack, jump attack or block ability.

It doesn't need extra movement.
Just something looking anatomically OK.

Spriting and drawing are  the only things I can give advice about. Actually It's all my life.

But I have no problem with the idea to rush stuffs.
When I was 15/16yo, I used copy paste with weird orientation of head, so I can understand the need for a fast result.
 
Thank you very much, I take note of all the advice, the head thing is a most basic error, cut and paste, but I will pay attention to these details  ;).
