Canceled (W.I.P.) The Burning Fox! Origins

Project is halted prior to completion and will not receive further updates.
I haven't had the free time, I'll check them out though.
I've been busy modding extremely hard! I'm a little caught up, I'll admit lol  ???

Good job!
Nice to see some new project by you! :D

The design is nice!
the only detail to improve might be the dark outline on grey hair of "evil version"
It could be a little lighter.

Keep it up.

Update 10-24-13

I've been supy busy! :-X Here's what I've added. I'm not in a position to post gameplay or anything, I plan to do so in November.

*What I added*

- Wii support... meaning recently the Wii version was crashing supper hard whenever I try to add script.

-I finally got a custom Animated Title and Menu screen! :D I even modified the way it look when you choose "new game", "options" and all that.

-Everything is organized and ready for me to go! Hopefully its smooth sailing from now on.

is looking good!!

But I really hope you improve the gameplay this time. Skull Kingz was good, the remake bas even better! But Overload... I just didn't finish, and just played using the gun because I got bored fast. It was 2 steps back in comparison with Skull Kingz.

Just my 2 cents  :)

Thanks! Gameplay is something I'm working hard on. I'm working heavy on combos, chain combos, cancels & specials you know, something that could be addictive. lol. ;) Unlike Skull Kingz, this is single player, so I can focus on 1 style of gameplay before I add characters in any future installment.

But honestly, Overload was 2 steps behind Skull Kingz. I agree. I personally feel like Skull Kingz had good gameplay but lacked a good story, and Overload had basic repetitive gameplay with good story telling. With The Burning Fox, I plan to improve drastically. This is my chance to show my true potential just like I did when I animated the movie.

Update 11-14-13 ???

Sorry, I haven't really been updating, been crazy busy sprite editing these new characters. It's time consuming! Overall I'm making a lot of progress.

Good News
Zier Fox (The Burning Fox) is fully sprited. He's about 80% playable. I should be done with him sometime this week. I just need to get him an enemy to beat up on and a nice test stage to make a video. I'll post one in about a week or 2 hopefully.

Bad News
I'm rethinking the title and story of this game. I'm not sure if I'm taking it in the right direction. The Burning Fox is my favorite original creation, so I'm cautious about the decisions I make. Long story short, I might not make Zier playable as a kid. I'm not confirming anything, but I'll let you guys know soon! I have to get back to modding. Very intense modding! :-X

Question?
Should I make a playable demo soon?

I'll do both Bloodbane. I'll upload screenshots and a video soon. I just need to work on Lifebars and 1 enemy first.
I want this bad boy to look good. :P

Update 12/10/13

Sorry for my lack of updates. I'm still working on this game, it's just that recently my computer crashed. Now every time I boot it up, I get a error message .. "system32 ntoskrnl.exe" corrupt or missing.

The files should be in the harddrive, so if I can't repair it, then I would just have to take it to a computer store and have them retrieve my files.

:-\ If anybody have any tips, please don't hesitate to help me, I want to finish this game, not start over.

Should be an easy fix, your files are all still there, there's ways to get them even if windows can't be fixed.

See if the solution below is any help.

HTH

Missing or corrupt ntoskrnl.exe file

If the ntoskrnl.exe file is corrupt or missing this can also generate the error. To restore this file follow the below steps.

Insert the Microsoft Windows XP CD. Note: If you have a recovery CD or a restore CD and not a Microsoft Windows XP CD it is likely the below steps will not resolve your issue.
Reboot the computer, as the computer is starting you should see a message to press any key to boot from the CD. When you see this message press any key.
In the Microsoft Windows XP setup menu press the R key to enter the recovery console.
Select the operating system you wish to fix, and then enter the administrator password.
Type expand d:\i386\ntoskrnl.ex_ c:\windows\system32
You will then be prompted if you wish to overwrite the file type Y and press enter to overwrite the file.
Type exit to reboot the computer.

I haven't abandoned this game at all. Trust me, it will be completed!
Right now I'm still in the process of trying to get my files out of the pc that crashed. I'm still getting the "Missing or corrupt ntoskrnl.exe" error.  :'(

But since I couldn't work on the game, I started to animate until the pc is either fix or I retain my files.

Here's what I've been doing with The Burning Fox..

The Burning Fox!™ - Series Trailer

Skull Kingz, what up homie! Good to see you're still going at your work, it looks good, and so does the cartoon you're makin'. Gotta say, that brown alien from the video makes me think of predator without his dreads, stole a suite from one of the Ginyu force. Still looks cool though.  8)

Update 1-6-14

After 1 month of freaking out, I finally managed to fix my old pc and recover all of my files!  ;D
I feel amazing, I can finally continue my game without any problems. See you guys around!

And thanks Hanzo & DJ for the comments, much appreciated!
