One of the txt files contains the OpenBOR template for the character animations. I actually found a site that provided me with all the sprites .png without needing to sign upI don't know what their rules are, but in fairness, I make users sign up to download here as well. Without some amount of gatekeeping, the bots and leeches would overrun us, hogging up bandwidth away from legitimate downloads.
There's also a side effect in that having an account helps encourage real participation.
